Provide Purpose, Time, Hope, and Education for people who struggle with mental health
I am writing this petition to advocate for a transformative program that can change lives and give people the opportunity to move forward in society. This cause is deeply personal to me as I have experienced first hand the positive impact of such a program. Having been homeless, battled addiction, and faced personal mental health difficulties myself, I understand the struggles individuals face when trying to rebuild their lives. I have also witnessed countless others who possess the potential to overcome their challenges but are trapped within a system that fails to provide them with realistic opportunities for growth. The current approach often revolves around short-term fixes, denial of underlying issues, enabling behaviors, and an overall lack of understanding.
